  • Founded in 1913 by Croatian immigrants in Youngstown’s Arlington District, located at 421 Covington Street.

  • Croatian society leaders purchased two lots with small houses in 1911 to establish the parish.

  • A Romanesque brick church was constructed in 1913 on the same site.

  • The original wooden altar survives and is incorporated into the side altar transom.

  • Reverend John A. Stipanovic served as pastor for 53 years, known for personally collecting donations and insisting on Sunday attendance.

  • A parish school opened in 1929, serving the community for 58 years until closing in 1973.

  • Merged in 2011 with St. Stephen of Hungary and Our Lady of Hungary to form Holy Apostles Parish.

  • In 2025, merged with St. Columba Cathedral and St. Edward Parish; The Church building is now a secondary worship site.

  • Friday Night Bingo, begun in 1955, continues today.
