Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church - 1911
526 W. Rayen, Yo., OH 44502

Founded by Ukrainian immigrant families who had settled in the Arlington District by 1909, located at 526 W. Rayen Avenue.
Land for the church was purchased with contributions from parishioners.
Designed by Youngstown architects Miller and Ford in the Ukrainian Baroque style, featuring three domes and ornate turrets.
Interior highlights include a marble altar with a frescoed Last Supper, life-sized stained-glass windows of the four Evangelists, and a hand-crafted iconostasis imported from Ukraine.
Construction was entirely funded by parishioners through donations and loans, overcoming delays caused by limited resources, reflecting both communal perseverance and faith.
While the congregation now consists mostly of older parishioners, the church continues to maintain its presence through Potato or Sauerkraut/Potato pyrohy sales every Thursday at the Social Hall.
Engages in community outreach through supporting Ukraine with aid collections (medical, food, supplies), running local food/coat drives, hosting events like fundraisers for Ukraine, and facilitating spiritual/community building via parish groups, pyrohy sales, and connecting with other local parishes for broader charitable efforts, all fostering a supportive environment for both parishioners and the wider community.
